The management of University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into its School of Nursing for the 2020/2022/2023 academic session.
About UCH School of Nursing Ibadan
The School of Nursing, University College Hospital, Ibadan was founded in July 1952. The temporary site was at Eleyele. It then moved to this present building in 1957 after the opening of the 1st Nigeria University teaching Hospital in Ibadan.
The school comprises hostels with the capacity for accommodating about 340 students, well equipped, modern classroom block with facilities for practical demonstrations, group tutorials, a science laboratory, and a library.
The school of nursing is a distinct educational establishment in which the student nurses live and belong throughout their course training, though an integral part of the hospital.

The course is for a period of three years, following which candidates shall be presented for both the School and Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria Final Examinations to qualify, be registered, and licensed to practice as General Nurses (RN).
UCH School of Nursing Ibadan Admission Form Requirements 2022/2023
What are the requirements needed before one can be eligible for UCH School of Nursing Ibadan Admission? Here are the highlighted requirements for being eligible for admission this year.
All Candidates who want to apply must meet the under-listed requirements.
Interested candidates who intend to apply for the UCH Ibadan school of nursing should be of age 17 ½ years and above and possess the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with credit in at least 5 subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
Only individuals with required credit passes at not more than two sittings from the same examination body may apply.
Mode of Application
Here is the method of application for the UCH Nursing School Admission Form.
Please note that PIN requests for Option 2 above would be treated within 72hrs (Working Days Only) from the time of the request.
- Make a payment of a non-refundable fee of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N7,500.00) only through any commercial bank into University College Hospital, Ibadan T.S.A. Account- School of Nursing. Teller to be changed to receipt at UCH Accounts Department.
- Make a payment of Two Hundred Naira (N200.00) only into Oyo State Nursing & Midwifery Committee Account, First Bank Plc. 2020704292
- Present both the UCH receipt and First Bank teller for the payment of N200.00 at Room 6, School of Nursing to collect PIN (Personal Identification Number) for login and online application submission.
- Go to the portal on https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng, download the Applicants’ User Guide, and enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number) to log in and create your account.
- Follow instructions on the Applicants’ User Guide to input your data and submit your application online.
- Print 2 copies of your form and Photocard and submit for authentication at Room 6, School of Nursing
No application letter is required.

Method of Selection:
(i) Applicants shall be notified of the date, venue, and time for Computer Based (CBT) Entrance Examination through their e-mail addresses and text messages
(ii) Only candidates with authenticated (stamped and signed) Photocards shall be allowed into the examination venue.
(iii) Only candidates who attain acceptable standards at the examination shall be invited for an interview or considered for selection following the interview.
